Inspiration-

Take a look at Tymanny Parish, in Slidell, Louisiana. All these people are lined up for early voting. When I drove by to hike and survey yesterday they were lined up. When we drove back, they were still lined up. The line snaked around the parking lot. There were tons of cars everywhere. A volunteer that was parking cars said he had never seen the lines this long.

People are voting. More than ever. And that is amazing. Everyone is equal, and everyone counts.

Talk to you tomorrow!

Hey Mrs. Farber,
That's so cool that you were there and that was the longest line that man had ever saw. Hope your hike was fun!
Love,
Madi

Dear Ms. Farber,
It's so cool that people are voting and that they realize that every vote counts. I feel bad for the people running the poles they must be really busy! The elections are really intense this year, may the best person win. Have fun at teacher camp.

Quynne

Hey Ms. Farber,
We got snow last night! Are the lines so long because of the candidates or because a lot of people are 18 right now?

We miss you,
Zoe

Thanks for the comments! I think the lines are long because so many folks care about this election, and so much is at stake. I think many people who had never voted before are voting this time. And to see that many people participating in democracy gives me hope for the future!
